Senior Core Competences

Job Summary:

These core competences are common to all senior survey positions.

Entry Level Specifications:

• Valid and current offshore medical certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed
• Valid and current offshore survival certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed

The following competencies will be assessed through performance criteria:

1) The ability to implement and maintain a safe work environment, to legislative and company operating requirements
2) The ability to communicate effectively, provide supervision and leadership of Survey Teams
3) The ability to use IT systems and networks
4) The ability to demonstrate a practical knowledge of maritime safety and vessel operations
