Senior Geotechnical Operator

Job Summary:

A Senior Operator is regarded as someone who is fully conversant in the operation of all geotechnical systems operations.

They can successfully manage the survey engineering team during operations and will report directly to the Party Chief.

The Senior Operator is expected to coach and assess members of the Survey Team in line with the Competence Management Programme.

The Geotechnical Operator is responsible for the mobilisation, setup, maintenance and operations of all geotechnical systems.

Entry Level Specifications:

• Satisfactory completion of the competence criteria for Operator Grade I and be working towards Senior Operator grade
• Nominally 150 days operational experience and 8 mobilisations as a Operator Grade I
• Valid and current offshore medical certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed
• Valid and current offshore survival certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed

4) The ability to verify the successful mobilisation of the a geotechnical system

6) Demonstrate a knowledge of soil and soil interaction with geotechnical equipment
