Grade I Dimensional Controller

Job Summary:

A Grade I Dimensional Control Surveyor is regarded as someone who is conversant with survey aspects of marine survey operations.

They can successfully participate in the Survey Project Team during operations and will report directly to the Senior Surveyor.

The Grade I Dimensional Surveyor is expected to coach and assess junior members of the Survey Project Team in line with the Competence Management Programme.

Entry Level Specifications:

• Nominally 80 days operational experience as a Surveyor Grade II
• Valid and current offshore medical certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed
• Valid and current offshore survival certificate that is acceptable in the region of the world in which they are employed

The following competencies will be assessed through performance criteria:

1) The ability to demonstrate and understand standard Dimensional Control survey principles and how they are used during Dimensional Control Surveys
2) Complete the Grade I Core Competences (1-4)
3) Complete the Grade II Surveyor Competences (1-10)
